Hegel's Faith and Knowledge

A new project that I have been thinking about for a while will start this summer. It concerns a new translation of the Kant part of Hegel's early essay Faith and Knowledge, on which I have published previously (here, here). I will provide an entirely new translation of the German (using the critical Buchner/Pöggeler text), along with a detailed commentary and cross references to Kant's Critique of Pure Reason below the translated text. Hopefully, this translation will be published in book form at some point (there is no contract yet, any interest from publishers welcome). First drafts of the translation will appear on a dedicated website: faithandknowledge to which you can subscribe.

Along with the translation, I'm also working on a new essay on a central aspect of Hegel's reading of Kant in this early work: the way that productive imagination conveys the idea of an absolute identity between sensibility and the understanding.
